We work to achieve food nutrition and security, sustainable environment and eradicate poverty. Motivated by our MISSION which is to promote systems and evidence based approaches in the development and use of policies (at all levels), knowledge, and technologies and innovations for food nutrition security, biodiversity conservation, climate resilience and wealth creation in African communities.

Our strategy is to build African impetus for social, economic and environmental integrity RAEIN-Africa works with the grassroots to deliver programmes that build African impetus for social, economic and environmental integrity. Working with the affected communities through connecting stakeholders’ in science, technology and innovations for holistic, all-inclusive knowledge and, technology development and objectively informing decision making by key stakeholders in food systems, climate resilience and biodiversity conservation

In practice this means working with the various stakeholder groups (Civil society, NGOs, Government Departments, Academic Institutions, Private Companies) and affected communities, using a holistic systems approach through bridge-building and achieving synergies between the various actors of innovation systems.  Together, we deliver grassroots programmes, develop context specific, community and ecologically friendly innovations, carry out research to inform decision making in food nutrition and security, climate resilience and sustainable livelihoods and environmental management.
